Emails received prior to the meeting will be read out during the first Question & Comment period, in the order that they are received. Emails received during the Council meeting, pertaining to decisions made by Council that evening, will be prioritized and read during the second Question & Comment Period. A maximum of 15 minutes will be spent on each Question & Comment Period. Any questions received that are not addressed during the Council meeting will be responded to via email after the meeting.

Dr. Heather Bears, Principal, Zoetica Environmental Consulting Services, to present an update on the Environmental Inventory and Management Strategy Project.

THAT the following items be received into the record and respective Staff recommendations, where applicable, be approved by Council:

(1) Community Check In Task Force Postcard (Page 10) Community Check In Task Force Postcard recently distributed to the community in an effort to promote support services available to individuals in need.



(2) United Support - Dispatch Protocol Concerns (Page 11) Letter from Mayor Harvie, City of Delta, regarding appreciation of support for concerns related to dispatch protocols for fire services during the COVID-19 pandemic dated May 1, 2020.



(3) COVID-19: Financial Supports and Measures (Page 12)  Letter from the Honourable Selina Robinson, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, dated May 14, 2020, in response to concerns of the interim business property tax relief legislation under Bill 10.

Inspector Aaron Paradis, Ridge Meadows RCMP, to provide a departmental update to Council on policing priorities and challenges in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

3. North Lougheed Study Area Revised Land Use Concept and Accompanying Policies (File 13-6520-20/19 NLSA)(Page 27)

THAT Council:

A. Receive for information the following reports:

A.1 North Lougheed Study Area Engagement Summary: Phase 2 - Public and Stakeholder Engagement on Draft Land Use Concepts, dated May 5, 2020;

A.2 North Lougheed Study Area Land Use Development Policies and Land Use Plan, dated May 11, 2020; AND

B. Direct staff to prepare an application to Metro Vancouver to amend the Regional Growth Strategy, Metro 2040, to accommodate the North Lougheed Study Area land use plan; OR

C. Other.

THAT Council:

A. Approve issuance of Development Variance Permit No. 2020-001 for 19451 Sutton Avenue as presented at the May 26, 2020 Regular Council Meeting; OR

* Any matter pertaining to a bylaw or zoning application that is the subject of a public hearing and has not yet been adopted;
* Any matter that is before the courts, has been the subject of a claim for damages, or pertains to active requests for proposals; 
* Requests for financial or in-kind support;
* The promotion of commercial goods or services;
* Other topics deemed inappropriate, vexatious, frivolous, defamatory in nature, or contain abusive language.
* The Corporate Officer reserves the right to limit or defer questions and comments from the public due to time constraints or inappropriate content.
