Community members can still participate in Question & Comment Period by sending an email to questionsandcomments@pittmeadows.ca. Emails received prior to the meeting will be read out during the first Question & Comment period, in the order that they are received. Emails received during the Council meeting, pertaining to decisions made by Council that evening, will be prioritized and read during the second Question & Comment Period. A maximum of 15 minutes will be spent on each Question & Comment Period. Any questions received that are not addressed during the Council meeting will be responded to via email after the meeting. THAT Council:

A. Grant first, second and third readings to Smoking Regulation Bylaw No. 2844, 2020; OR

2. Rezoning Application for 18385 Old Dewdney Trunk Road (File 3360-20-2020-02)(Page 54) 

THAT Council:

A. Grant first and second readings to Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2860, 2020; AND

B. Schedule an electronic public hearing for Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2860, 2020 during an upcoming Regular Meeting of Council; AND

C. Should Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2860, 2020 be adopted, register a covenant on title for 18385 Old Dewdney Trunk Road that limits the nonfarm uses to the existing owners; OR

3. Development Variance Permit Application for 11626 Harris Road (File 3090-20-2020-03)(Page 74)

THAT Council:

A. Deny consideration of a development variance permit for 11626 Harris Road as outlined in the Staff Report dated May 15, 2020 and presented to Council at the June 16, 2020 Council Meeting; OR

B. Other.


4. Soil Removal and Fill Deposit Permit Application - 12150 Golden Ears Way (File 4520-08-2018-06)(Page 88)

THAT Council:

A. Approve the issuance of a Soil Removal and Fill Deposit Permit to 0994778 B.C. Ltd., for 12150 Golden Ears Way with the following conditions:

A.1 A valid temporary access permit renewal from the Ministry of Transportation Infrastructure, which includes a temporary construction access plan and traffic management plan, is required for the issuance of the permit; AND

A.2 Filling activities are prohibited on Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays and restricted to the hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. any other day of the week; OR

B. Other.

* Communications will NOT be announced or heard by Council during Question and Comment Period if the communication pertains to any of the following:
* Any matter pertaining to a bylaw or zoning application that is the subject of a public hearing and has not yet been adopted;
* Any matter that is before the courts, has been the subject of a claim for damages, or pertains to active requests for proposals; 
* Requests for financial or in-kind support;
* The promotion of commercial goods or services;
* Other topics deemed inappropriate, vexatious, frivolous, defamatory in nature, or contain abusive language.
* The Corporate Officer reserves the right to limit or defer questions and comments from the public due to time constraints or inappropriate content.
